*Position: QA Analyst* *Location: Phoenix, AZ* *Duration: 12 Months+* *Local candidates preferred!!!* *JOB DESCRIPTION:* Quality Assurance Analyst will participate in testing activities for bug fixes and enhancements including the planning of testing projects, development of test cases, execution of test cases and reporting of defects. *DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* • Lead testing projects, including the planning, testing and coordinating of testing activities • Coordinate test activities of multiple teams, including but not limited to business, development and project teams • Design and implement test strategy for projects and develop estimates for new test projects • Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of business requirements. • Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan • Develop, document and maintain test cases for bug fixes, small, medium and large/complex projects, including identification of risks and dependencies • Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results. • Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members. • Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements. • Isolate, replicate, and report defects; raise issues/concerns regarding issue prioritization • Coordinate with business in understanding reported issues, requirements and expected behavior *QUALIFICATIONS:* • Undergraduate degree in CS/CE/CIS/MIS or Engineering/Technology or related field or equivalent experience/training • At least 5+ years of experience in software testing/Quality Assurance (QA) • Good analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities • Understanding of Quality Management and "best practices" with regard to testing techniques, methodologies, processes, tools, artifacts, and measurement • Thorough knowledge of software development lifecycles • Experience testing web-based applications • Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively facilitate meetings • Ability to effectively meet deadlines and prioritize projects in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment • Agile experience required • Experience with automated testing tools a plus • Airline experience is a plus • Mobile testing a plus *Gurjant (Gary) Singh | **Technical Recruiter* t 925.297.5994 | f 1.925.406.0505 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
