So need only GCs and Citizens *Job Title : Sr SAS Data Integration / Technical Architect* *Location: Hartford, CT or Pittsburgh, PA * *Duration: 6 months Contract to hire* *description and responsibilities * The client requires an experienced SAS Technical Architect with HealthCare experience. The consultant must have excellent communication skills and must be able to communicate about the techniques developed and results of analysis both to executives and other analysts in the organization. *Qualifications – Essential * · 10+ years of SAS programming, data architecting and technical design. · Experience with SAS Installation and configuration options. · Experience in Healthcare industry, Medical Claims, and clinical information formats and coding. · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience · Experience deriving SAS analytics and content with SAS 9.4 including: · Apply and demonstrate expertise with efficient DATA step, SQL programming and SAS Macro programming. · Experience with designing, developing and maintaining analytical Data Warehouses/Data Marts · Be proficient in Base SAS programming (DATA step), SQL programming (i.e., use of SQL pass-through or PROC SQL), as well as the SAS Macro language for use in making code more efficient.. · Leveraging and utilizing SAS Output Delivery System (ODS) experience is preferred. · Utilizing Enterprise Guide and its functionality to create project flows which could include aspects of data access, manipulation, summarization, and report generation to a variety of output formats and channels, etc. · 5 years or more of Data Warehousing implementation experience and experience developing analytical solutions with SAS Solutions. · Data Modeling, Data Architecting and ETL architecting expertise is required. · Integrating and managing the data mappings from the client’s data sources (mainly MS-SQL Server) to the SAS Data Warehouse. · Ability to develop new data loads to existing data warehouse. · Good written and spoken communications skills in English and thought-leadership skills Thanks & regards, Phani InfoVision Inc.
