*Position:Database Administrator with Oracle and Oracle RAC Database * *Location:ECDC, Houston, TX (Locals Only)* *Durtion: till december, 2016* Face to face required *Summary:* This position is an Oracle Database Administrator that has had hands-on experience with Oracle 11g, Oracle 12c, Data Guard, RAC and all facets of Database Administration. *Essential Duties/Responsibilities: * Administer and support Oracle database environment at Client center Perform Oracle DBA functions for multiple Oracle environments such as: Backup, restore, assist in recovery from loss data caused by application, user, or system error, performance tuning, security management, capacity planning, standards development, documentation and enforcement, database refreshes, development of recovery procedures, space management, instance management, Shell scripting, upgrades, apply Oracle patches, Oracle export & imports, provide proactive monitoring, identify critical problems, make corrective actions, fix on failed actions to database objects, troubleshooting and problem resolution, verify scheduled jobs execution and success, deploy and manage ASM storage, utilization of Grid Control and RMAN. Support and implement database needs for all purchased and in-house written applications and assist with application development issues and client problem resolution. Provide consulting assistance to IT customers regarding the development of applications using in-scope databases. Develop and review production deployment implementation plans in compliance with IT production control requirements.
