POSITION: JAVA Architect** Location: NY *Locals Only* *( PA,MA, NJ, CT) * Duration: 6 months Start Date: Immediate *(ATLEAST 10+yrs IT Exp) * Job Description: At a minimum, we are looking for someone with 10+ years of experience. As the project is very high profile, we want to staff with the best candidate possible. 1. Architect level experience/exposure - Define solutions/design modules, review code/document/other artifacts 2. Knowledge in Agile/Scrum and with Financial Services Experience 2. Good communication skills - This will be very important, being the primary contact between the client and the offshore teams 3. Hands on - Define tasks for offshore, delegate and consolidate/integrate the offshore deliverables etc. 4. Adequate exposure to technolgies like Spring Framework, Web Services, Web Service Frameworks, XML\XML Schema, XML Frameworks, Messaging and Messaging Frameworks, ESB, Web UI, Database concepts with basic knowledge of using the tools, writing basic SQL, stored procedures (for interfacing with DB developers) 5.
