Duration: 3-6 Months Contract Interview: Phone & Skype Hire *Primary Functions:* - Support and manage non-production and production application environments and related applications. - Manage overall integration of application and system components. - Plan, communicate and implement successful application installs and upgrades. - Continually refresh knowledge of marketplace changes in technology relating to application administration, data, integration, and related applications. - Manage change management for PeopleSoft environments, related applications and other Lines of Business. - Work closely with University IT teams to refine application administration standards & processes and the integration of application, database and operating systems. - Work with customers and other team members across University IT to define, configure and implement high value innovative solutions for Enterprise Applications Lines of Business. - Lead projects to support cost effective information services for the PeopleSoft environments, LOB Activities and users. - Work with users to understand, document, and enhance business processes and supporting documentation to meet user and business needs. - Provide 24/7 production support of all PeopleSoft environments and related applications and other Lines of Business (Parking). *Knowledge And Skills:* - Demonstrated hands-on expertise in service oriented systems, administration tools and approaches. - Demonstrated success with deploying, integrating, and supporting complex multi-user, multi-platform systems in a decentralized environment. - Demonstrated experience and success in application administration, creating/managing/adhering to standards, process and quality assurance. - Demonstrated success with PeopleSoft, PeopleSoft Tools and application administration, implementation, upgrading, monitoring, tuning and improving PeopleSoft environments (Current version PeopleSoft Tools 8.55.11 with tentative upgrade to version 8.56). - Knowledge and skills with the Microsoft Windows Server platform. - Knowledge of UNIX and Linux operating systems and tools. - Knowledge and skills with Windows 2012. - Knowledge and skills with Parking Systems to include T2 Parking Systems, License Plate Registration (LPR), Talkmaster Intercom Software and SQL Programming. - Provide regular on-call technical support to minimize the impact of system disruptions. - Demonstrated experience with troubleshooting user problems. *The ideal candidate will meet or exceed the following:* - Bachelor degree preferred in a related discipline. 5 to 8 years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
