The position requires learning and understanding the systems unique to the University of Iowa Hospitals and understanding the controls and access requirements involved and assigning the appropriate access and permissions to hospital users. Comply with confidentiality requirements as set by HIPAA, FERPA, federal, state and local regulations. Resource will touch various systems such as Epic, Eldorado and other systems used by client Hospitals. The resource will possess an understanding of system access and training on specific systems will be provided. The Security Analyst (SA) has an understanding of all aspects of computer and network security, including network protocols and account creations. Strong oral and written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills as well as excellent judgment and self-motivation. Able to multitask and work well under pressure. Knowledgeable of industry security trends and developments as well as applicable government regulations. Skills Needed Provide primary operational support for Active Directory and a wide range of diverse clinical information environments by following procedures. Required 3 Years Monitor all aspects of IdAM processes to ensure correctness of setup and appropriateness of authorizations. Required 3 Years Monitor and work the tickets in the support queue. Ensure timely completion and documentation of all work orders. Required 2 Years Provide and coordinate second-tier support by telephone and electronically to the enterprise. Required 2 Years Assist with the implementation of approved projects and services within a functional area including identifying phases and resource requirements. Required 2 Years Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field. Required 4 Years Experience in and ability to use evaluate business and computer software programs and learn access controls Required 2 Years Comply with confidentiality requirements as set by HIPAA, FERPA, federal, state and local regulations.
