Conduct comprehensive analysis of current document management technology and practices. Based on results of analysis, recommend and plan improvements to technology and practices to achieve Agency goals and align with industry best practices. . Lead, manage, monitor, and control all project processes, from initiation to closeout, according to project management best practices. . Monitor and control project scope, and schedule throughout project lifecycle. . Follow PMO processes and develop PMO-approved artifacts as needed to meet project requirements. . Communicate progress, risks, expectations, timelines, milestones and other key project metrics to team members and management staff. Where project control is in jeopardy, create contingency plans with appropriate input from key team members and implement a revised project schedule, scope in a timely manner. . Other general project management duties as assigned . The position will be utilized for 40 hours per week for the duration of this project. The selected candidate should be able to work flexible hours where it may be necessary for work to be completed outside traditional business hours. . The candidate will work closely with Project Management Office and Bureau of Information Technology staff to identify, prioritize, and schedule workload and implementation. The position will work with program area team members to ensure that all business and contractual requirements are met to support the Document Management project. . Candidates must be self-motivated, an expert in Document Management, team-oriented, work under limited supervision, and respond to priority tasks as needed. Required Skills (Rank In Order Of Importance): . Minimum 10 Years Experience In Document Management . Pmp Certification From The Pmi. . Requirements Gathering . Ability To Develop, Communicate, And Present Project Documentation And Reports. . Knowledge Of Information Technology Field, Best Practices, Organization, And Operations. Preferred Skills (Rank In Order Of Importance): . Experience In Planning, Designing, And Implementing A Document Imaging Infrastructure-Cdia+ Or Equivalent Certification Preferred. . Experience Working On Document Management Solutions Within One Or More Of The Following Function Areas: Human Resources, Regulatory/Compliance, And Finance/Procurement . Ability To Establish Positive Working Relationships With Technical Staff, Customers And Others Involved In Data-Centric Management. Required Education: Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Of Work Or Equivalent Work Experience.
