It order to do so will be developing a number of Requests for Proposal (RFP) for outside integrators. This RFP development will need to be done in a consistent, clear and professional manner. The Senior Technical Writer will work under the guidance of state staff and management and will augment the state's ability to expedite the procurement and contracting process. Candidates that come from a Project Management background or have strong Project Management experience are highly desired, but not required. Prior to interview, shortlisted candidates will be asked to supply writing samples. Skills Needed Ability to translate business requirements into procurement language (REQ) Required 5 Years An understanding of the public sector procurement process (NTH) Required 5 Years Excellent written and spoken communications (REQ) Required 5 Years Ability to interact with staff and management at all levels of an organization (NTH) Required 5 Years Understanding of vendor technical community (NTH) Required 5 Years Understanding of Information Technology terms and concepts (REQ) Required 5 Years Previous experience drafting Request for Proposals for IT integrators.
