Customize web-based application utilizing J2EE Oracle OAS. * Individual will be responsible for: · Analyzing requirements, high level design, detailed design, technical specifications, and other project artifacts to understand benefit administration (pensions and eligibility) application functionality. · Develop automated high capacity performance load test plan which verifies application as well as system architecture components (High availability self-healing verification and benchmarking metrics) utilizing Jmeter or similar j2EE performance load testing application · Document and report performance test results including defect tracking management. · Provide quality control metrics for executive level reporting purposes. · Participate in software architecture design with vendor to provide ability to customize vendor’s benefits ERP application utilizing J2EE APIs and Oracle OAS 10G. · Mentor development team members on the use of J2EE. · Write Oracle data cleansing scripts in PL/SQL * * *Required Experience: * · Three or more years hands-on web-based application development in J2EE · Two or more years hands-on performance test automation of complex applications in Web-based environments (e.g., interfaces/ETL’s, integration code, middleware, etc.). * * *Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities: * *Technology* - Oracle 11G, OAS 10G, Microsoft Server 2008, Eclipse IDE, Apache. - Performance load testing software such as Jmeter, HP/Mercury, Quick Test Pro, or Compuware/ Micro Focus - Languages: PL/SQL, J2EE, (Visual Basic, VBScript and VBA for API calls to performance load testing software such as HP/Mercury, Quick Test Pro, or Compuware/ Micro Focus. - Adobe Acrobat Professional, Jasper iReport, Jasper Reports, Qoppa Software jPDFWriter, Secure FTP Server *Abilities:* - Excellent skills programming with DML PL/SQL. · Programming experience in Object Oriented programming and UML preferred, along with use of a Debugger. · Experience with the development and maintenance of automation scripts. - Proficiency writing database batch processes. - Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills. - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team. - Detail-oriented, self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision. - Ability to plan and manage time based on schedules. - Strong problem solving skills. - Someone who can work collaboratively with business users *Desired Knowledge Skills & Abilities: * - Experience with Compuware TestPartn - er is preferred, but not required. - Business understanding of benefits administration functions including pension and eligibility applications. - Knowledge of Vitech System Group V3 browser based benefits administration system (highly desirable) · Working knowledge of software quality assurance/testing methodologies and practices business knowledge of claims processing applications · Knowledge of Jasper iReport Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
