Expected Rate: Requirement details:- Position Title : Project Server Tech Analyst / Admin Location : Redmond, WA Duration : 3 months+ Bill Rate : 45/hr CTC Responsibilities: The Project Server Tech Analyst / Admin will be involved in the design and development of a Project Server based Portfolio Mgmt, Capacity/Resource forecasting solution. This person needs to be an expert on Project Server and should have deep understanding and experience of how to implement Project Server. Specific responsibilities include: - Technical Design, Architecture development for the ProjectServer based solution - Customization of Project Server, as needed - Design and Develop SQL queries, jobs,sprocs to support integration/automation with external systems - Provide SQL Dev services and support, as required, for the budget data loads to IT Finance systems - Provide documentation of day-to-day SQL Dev activities and procedures for Knowledge Management - Design, configure, and admin a sophisticated and flexible security model with AD Sync, PjS groups, and PjS categories. - Be able to take the business, functional, and technical requirements and figure out how best to accomplish in P14 and create prototypes to review. - Understand the P14 data model and database table. Design how to enter data into P14 and get it out in reports, OLAP cube, SSRS, etc. - Be able to design and configure custom webparts and maybe leverage PSI to create some custom "applets". - Be able to work with the junior PjS admin skillset resource and help him learn, share the work, but be able to accomplish the items that require a senior level PjS admin skillset. Skills/Experience: - 3+ yrs of Project Server experience (Project Server 2003/2007) - Strong SQL, Script Programming, SRS, VBA/Office-Automation/Excel Programming - Sharepoint (MOSS/VSS) - Strong understanding of Project Server security models leveraging AD - Experience working with IT Organization Portfolio planning, Capacity/Resource Management and Budget planning - Nice to have: Microsoft Certification in MS Project Server 2007 Configuration and Administration.
