* * *Description:* Responsible day to day administration of computerized databases. Responsible for quality control and auditing of databases to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data. Works with users to resolve data conflicts and inappropriate data usage. Maintains corporate data dictionary. Reports to the Database Manager/Administrator. This is the entry level position, requiring technical training. Typically requires knowledge of UNIX, 3000-5000 processor platforms, NT, Oracle. *Additional Job Description: * **Data Warehouse Consultant** Thorough knowledge of database technology and Teradata parallel architecture Experience in implementing physical model on relational databases. Knowledge of SQL to analyze databases ETL experience and involvement in the design of work and staging tables Experience with Teradata utilities including load/unload Expertise with Teradata management facilities and software Knowledge of at least one external environment and operating system including Unix, MVS, or other mainframe/minicomputer OS Familiarity with production environment demands regarding system performance, batch load windows and external system synchronization of data Hands-on expertise with relational database technology (DB2, Teradata) in a production environment. Experience with Data profiling.
