The initial duration of this project is *5 Months* *Scope of work: * · Responsible for moderately complex (journey-level) computer programming work. · Responsibilities include analyzing system outlines to develop programs for computer applications; preparing and developing solution programs; documenting methods and procedures used in program development; and testing, correcting, and revising programs. · Will work under general supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. · Prepares detailed workflow charts and diagrams that describe input, output, and logical operation, and converts them into a series of instructions coded in a computer language. · Deliver instructions for use during production runs and assists in preparing and developing instructions or manuals to guide end users. · Compile and document procedures used throughout program development and revision. Codes, tests, and debugs programs. · Analyze proposed computer applications in terms of equipment requirements and capabilities. · Analyze, review, and revise programs to increase operating efficiency or to adapt new procedures. · Assist in developing proposed computer applications in terms of equipment requirements and capabilities. · Assist in developing solutions to software-related problems. · Assist in preparing detailed analyses, plans, diagrams, and verification procedures for existing and proposed computer applications. · May assist in the generation or installation of systems software. · May train others. · Performs related work as assigned. * * *Required skills:* *Minimum Requirements:* * * Years Skills/Experience 4 Experience with the knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of computer programming and systems analysis; of computer operations procedures and systems; and of computer programming languages. 4 Experience in the use of computer equipment and in modifying programs for computer applications. 4 Experience processing information logically; to design programs and systems architecture; to prepare program specifications; to code, test, and debug computer programs; to interpret technical information related to computer programming and other areas of data processing; to communicate effectively; and to train others. 4 BMC Remedy IT Service Management Suite (degree or equivalent) Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in data processing, computer science, or a related field or experience in computer programming work.
