Short Description:
Write an ARRA BTOP grant application to construct a 700 MHz
interoperable public safety wireless broadband network for the State of NJ and
an RFP to allow the State to secure the LTE equipment and services that will be
needed to complete the project.
Complete Description:
The purpose of this request is to acquire the services of a
Radio Frequency Engineer to write an ARRA BTOP (American Recovery and
Reinvestment Act Broadband Technologies Opportunity Program) grant application
to construct a 700 MHz interoperable public safety wireless broadband network
for the State of New Jersey.
In addition, an RFP needs to be written to allow the state to
secure the LTE (Long Term Evolution) equipment and services that will be needed
to complete the project. The consultant must be able to work with State GIS
staff to create the service map.
An RF Engineer with demonstrated skills in the wireless
broadband arenai required, who can work rapidly to define the broadband
network, the coverage areas and the equipment and services necessary to build
it.
The consultant will be expected to estimate work effort,
resources and costs associated with the build out of the network for the
application.
The consultant must have strong writing skills that can be
used to write a compelling application argument.
