Title: Data warehouse Architect/Data Modeler Start Date: Asap Position Type: Contract Location: Princeton, NJ Looking for Data warehouse Architect/Data Modeler with minimum of 5 to 8 years experience working in the financial IT community. Candidate must possess excellent database design and development skills working with Oracle and should have experience in designing/building effective data warehouse/data mart solutions. The primary responsibility of the position will be the creation and maintenance of the logical and physical data models to support the FACTS Data warehouse application. Candidate must have experience working with data modeling tools such as CA ERwin Data Modeler. Individual must be self-starter and able to work in a team environment and possess strong analytical skills. Above all else, individual must be an excellent communicator. Skills Required • 3-5 years experience in the database development lifecycle • 3-5 years of data modeling experienced with an emphasis on Data Warehouse designs • 5 years experience in design, development and support of large Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence related database applications. • In-depth knowledge of Data Modeling concepts and tools • In-depth knowledge Data Warehouse/Data Mart design concepts • In-depth data modeling experienced with an emphasis on Data Warehouse designs • In-depth knowledge of RDBMS systems, specifically Oracle • In-depth knowledge of database programming including stored procedures using PL/SQL. • Strong SQL skills including the ability to write complex queries for performance improvement. • Must possess good written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to prioritize, multitask and work with remote teams.
