*Duration: 5 months* * * *Location: Palo Alto* * * *In this IT business analyst position, focus is on improving business processes and enhance IT infrastructure to enable flexible, self sufficient and expedited product release model. Analyst will: Conduct rigorous process and data analysis through interaction with business to create business/functional system requirements. Manage projects in tandem with Product Management and IT partners to allow for seamless consumption of bits by customers. Ensure process and system integration across the breadth of Product Management functional activities. Must be able to demonstrate ability to enable effective collaboration between value chain constituents in and outside the company. Must have: Experience managing SKU optimization projects. Experience in enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation including order to cash modeling. Experience product lifecycle management (PLM) implementation including PLM to product launch. Experience in weaving voice of the customer into end product. Experience in Oracle EBS, Advanced Pricing, SKU management, Agile PLM Responsibilities * * • Document functional business requirements and business cases. • Manage requirements process with end users. • Assist with translating business requirements into a solution design. • Participate in appropriate steps during system development life cycle to ensure functional requirements are met. • Facilitate review sessions with functional owners and end-user representatives. • Perform gap analysis: as is vs. to be. • Participate in end to end implementation planning to include project management, issue management, communication and change management. • Writing and reviewing QA and UAT test scripts. • Managing UAT with end users including coordination and user acceptance signoff. • Preparation of user documentation and training documentation as necessary. • Leverage business knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvements.
