Wise Package Studio Analyst Duration: 6-months St.Louis Park, MN This position will gather and analyze business requirements and utilize Wise Package Studio to create software installations for enterprise wide automated deployment. Apply standards and best practices, coordinate and establish application specifications, functional requirements and product data to create automated installation packages. Provide supporting documentation, including information associated with revisions, rework, updates and any necessary troubleshooting to failed installations. Coordinate business and technical contacts to capture configration specifications Manage / Maintain multiple projects Demonstrated experience with MSI based installers and custom actions to allow for a zero-client experience; We're searching for a very detail-oriented individual who is comfortable being a team player. This is a highly visible position that offers excellent growth potential. The position requires the ability to communicate on all levels with a broad audience. The qualified candidate will also supply technical and process documentation that incorporates appropriate feedback. The person in this role will be overall responsible for creating software packages and sending them out. * Job Responsibilities: *Gather \ analyze business needs and requirements. Create software installations for automated deployment using Wise Package Studio. Documentation. Communication. In addition to these primary responsibilities, the candidate must have a solid understanding and functional use of Conflict Manager and its appropriate application to a large library of packaged applications. The candidate must have experience demonstrating a solid foundation of problem-solving technique to resolve complex issues. The position requires someone that can develop a quick understanding of a Product Owner's role throughout the development lifecycle. Microsoft Windows Installer. Wise Package Studio and/or Installshield's Admin Studio. Microsoft's Registry. Conflict Manager. Upgrades/Patches/Transforms. Candidate Assests: VB, VBScript, WSH, or other shell scripting languages helpful Past history in large scale migrations a plus.
