Hello Everyone, We have a new SAP BW Security opening in Columbus, Ohio. *A few very important things to keep in mind :* ** *1) Strong preference will be given to candidates local to Ohio and/or with Chemical Industry experience.* *2) Consultant must work on-site 100% M-F, if not local to Columbus, they must we willing to travel full time. * *3) Must have experience upgrading security from BW 3.x to BI 7.x* ** *We have direct Manager contact and have consultants working in this group already. * *Target rate still to come, not determined yet. ** * *3+ month contract, could get extended. * ** Job Objective: The objective of this position is to lead the security development and support work for BW upgrade to BI 7.x. The person in this position will work closely with IT project team members to deliver a quality and timely BI 7.x security solution. Accountabilities: 1. Translate business needs into technical security specifications/requirements for the BI 7.x upgrade. 2. Develop and document the new BI 7.x security design. 3. Provide advice, counsel and opinions on BI security related topics to internal IT associates as well as business partners. 4. Resolve all BI security related issues as quickly as possible through detailed analysis and persistence. Determine and clearly report root cause for all BI security related issues. 5. Provide assistance to technical teams and developers to ensure consistency with company data security policies and requirements. 6. Assume additional responsibilities and potentially perform special projects as needed or directed to support the goals of Hexion Specialty Chemicals. Knowledge / Education / Skills / Qualifications: · Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems (MIS) · Minimum of 5 to 6 years experience in BW/BI security development/administration · Must have experience upgrading security from BW 3.x to BI 7.x Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
