*Java Application Engineer – eBusiness Application Engineering* Duration: 6+months
Location: Beaverton OR ** As a Java Application Engineer for Client eBusiness Application Engineering team, you'll work with Information Technology and business partners to perform analysis, technical documentation, coding, installation, ongoing support and team leadership. You'll collaborate with our business and technical teams to define business problems in detail and establish functional, data and technical activities, including conceptual system design, technical design and documenting detailed specifications. You'll also work with other technical leads to plan new releases, explain requirements, direct a team of other application engineers in development efforts and resolve problems. In addition, you'll diagnose issues and ensure technical solutions meet performance and quality requirements in production. You’ll be a key member of the team, enabling Client's application engineering efforts across the enterprise. Requirements for the position include: Primary Skills (Must Have) Strong Java 6 (Collections, Annotations) Spring (AOP with AspectJ), Hibernate (solid understanding of JPA) Maven JAX RS (solid understanding of REST architecture), hands on experience with Apache CXF and/or Axis2 Passion for doing TDD (test driven development), pair programming etc. Familiarity and experience working within SOA principles.
