*This technical writer is not a true technical writer. Contractor will
develops technical documentation and project process documentation for the
development of requirements need for a RFP of the teacher certification
system.
*Complete Description:*

Years of Relevant Experience: 5 plus years.
Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study.
*Role Description:*
Communicate effectively with IT staff, client organization and software /
hardware suppliers.
Develop, enhance, and maintain user documentation for multiple applications
including documentation required for and RFP proposal as well as the
operations provider.
Develop on-line source documentation as appropriate.
Maintain documentation libraries and subscription lists.
Identify, create, revise, and maintain documentation and templates needed by
the Application Teams.
Ensure appropriate control access/use of documentation materials.
Maintain application and user documentation.
Ensure messages and terminology is consistent across all written materials.
Define current system technical architecture and design additional
applications for the portfolio of applications related to the teacher
certification process.
Participate in the plan and design of the expanded technical architecture
Prepare the request for proposal (RFP) for continued maintenance and service
of the current architecture as well as the development of new applications
that will enhance the service aspects of the current architecture utilizing
telephony applications such as Avaya.
Manage and report time spent on all work activities.
Follow quality standards.
Strong communication skills; both written and spoken.
