Hi, Client is looking for Sr. Oracle DBA with SQL DBA – Dallas, TX*.* This is a 5 months contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE. *JOB REQUIREMENTS *(Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)** Experience supporting Oracle database environments. Strong UNIX skills including shell programming, cron, korn shell, and a general understanding of the UNIX AIX operating system. Must have strong Oracle database administration experience. (Versions 9i, 10g, 11g) Experience with SQL Server 2000/2005 database administration a plus. In-depth knowledge of Oracle backup/recovery techniques Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong knowledge of and efficient skill in applying: SQL Development SQL Tuning Database Tuning PL/SQL Development SQL Server database architecture and design Oracle database architecture and design Strong knowledge of Oracle Internals Database Backup and Recovery techniques Relational Design Oracle industry best practices and OFA standards Additional experience in: SQL Server database architecture and design SQL Server Database Management Windows Clustering JOB QUALIFICATIONS:** ** *EDUCATION: * B.
