*Position*: * OBIEE Architect/Designer Bentonville, AR* *Location*: *Bentonville, AR* *Length*: 3-6 months w/option for additional time *Start Date*: ASAP *Overview:* Consultant will be responsible for developing & testing OBIEE standard business reports and the repository based on the specified requirements. Consultant will be also responsible for collaborating with the business analyst and data analyst to resolve gaps between the business requirements and information delivery design specifications and ensuring these decisions are documented. * Responsibilities: * 1. Must have 2-3 full life cycle OBIEE project implementations including experience with: a. Translates business requirements into a technical solution that can be implemented. b. Validate that the business requirements are complete, consistent, concise, and achievable. c. Produces information delivery design specifications meeting business requirements within the scope of the established architecture. d. Conducts information delivery design reviews. e. Participates in data model & database design reviews. 2. Conducting source data profiling activities and incorporate results into requirements documentation a. Develop and test OBIEE standard business reports and the repository based on the specified requirements b. Identifying & communicate design and scope issues and recommending potential solutions. c. Analyzes and defines processes, tasks, data flows, and dependencies. d. Guides BI developers implementing the solution. e. Helps builds consensus around the information delivery solution with the client and developers. 3. Expert knowledge in creation of OBI metadata repository and should be aware of best practices of OBI modeling. a. Propose security architecture using OBIEE b. Interoperability with OBIEE solutions c. Performance tuning OBIEE solutions d. Integration of OBIEE reports using supported APIs and portal interfaces e. OBIEE publisher reports and Scheduling of reports using Ibots & custom scheduling agents 4. Expert knowledge in customization of OBI user interface using Javascript, CSS and HTML to overcome tool UI limitations 5. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization. 6. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator 7.
