Description
The QA Analyst will support the creation and execution of functional and system
test cases for an enterprise project. Working with business process owners, IT
groups, and vendors, this position will need to understand the business and IT
requirements to effectively execute and manage the testing process.
Qualifications
a.. Requires a bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science, business or
equivalent experience.
b.. 5+ years experience with testing at different levels (unit, string,
integration, end-to-end, and user acceptance) on complex enterprise-wide
technical projects.
c.. Excellent written and oral communications.
d.. Ability to provide attention to detail.
e.. Understanding of all aspects of software lifecycle and project
methodologies.
f.. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with proven ability to
handle multiple-tasks at the same time. Must have experience working directly
with development, IT, and/or vendor teams to communicate and resolve issues in
a timely manner.
g.. Proven test lead skills in large or complex IT projects.
h.. Strong experience with HP Quality Center.
i.. Strong experience with software automation tools and ability to apply
latest techniques in automation testing.
j.. Strong experience with software performance tools and ability to apply
latest techniques in performance testing.
k.. Experience in testing mainframe, distributed and open systems
applications.
Preferred Qualifications
a.. Utility experience (electric and gas).
b.. Experience with Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) industry and
technology, including the collecting and analyzing electric/gas meter reads and
meter data management.
c.. Experience working with Itron products: Itron Enterprise Edition (IEE)
Release 6.0 or 7.0 and OpenWay Collection Engine (OWCE) System Release 2.0 or
3.0.
d.. Testing experience involving a mainframe customer information system.
