*Role: System Administrator* Location: FL ** Duration: 9 months Description This position will be responsible for: Administer, manage, configure, support and deploy technologies such as application servers, web servers, databases in a large complex enterprise class architecture. Deploy and manage high available clusters, load balancers, virtualized environments and applications within the infrastrucutre. Install, configure and deploy server and desktop components to support the business transactional systems. Integrate systems and applications into corporate systems such as LDAP, Security Appliances, Messaging Systems and automated build systems. Deploy and install applications to environments, migrate code and manage the change cycles. Coordinate vendor technical support, development and service delivery departments. Provide tier 3 support to IT staff and back end infrastructure, ensure system uptime and availability. Provide IT design and best practices support to developers, testers and analysts. Requirements Expert knowledge with Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008 and Windows XP Familiar with Linux RedHat ES Server and IBM AIX UNIX 5.x IBM Websphere Application Server 6.1.0.x Apache web server 2.x, IBM IHS HTTP web server 6.1, Microsoft IIS 6 and 7 Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and 2008, Oracle 9i and 10g Experience with J2EE(JSP, Servlets, Java) and Microsoft .Net(ASP.net, AJAX, HTML, VB.net) platforms/architectures Knowledge of Virtualization technology including VMWare Experience with SOA, web based and Client/Server technologies Experience with project management, enterprise architecture, technical support, user support, systems administration, network administration, vendor management, systems testing, documentation and blue printing Experience with IT methodologies and processes such as SDLC, Release Management, Agile, SCRUM Experience in a large complex enterprise IT organization Experience solving complex technical problems and problem root cause analysis Mercury Quality Center 10, IBM ClearCase 7, Microsoft Visio 2003, Microsoft Office 2007, Microsoft SharePoint 2007 Visual Studio IDE 03/08, IBM Rational Software Architect, SQL Server Management Studio, Oracle SQL Navigator, Websphere Integrated Solutions Console, SSIS, SSRS, Crystal Reports, HP Service Center, IBM Tivoli, Storage Systems (NetApp and EMC), LDAP(Active Directory) and other third party tools Attention to details, Fast learner, able to hit the ground running, good communication skills all a must Experience with the insurance industry helpful On call and after hours support as required -- Thanks Pavan Bandaru -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
