*I am in need of a SQL Server Developer to work in Dallas, TX on 6 month open ended contract. This opportunity has the possibility to go longer than a year as well. The rate for this opportunity is a max of $45/HR. The interview process is a phone screen followed by a personal interview. Please let me know if you have any candidates available for this assignment or any questions. * * * *JOB DESCRIPTION:* ** Consultant – SQL Server Developer - will work with Portfolio Management Information Technology team to review and modify existing stored procedures, SSIS packages and other Transact SQL related queries. In a hands-on SQL development mode, there would be need for developing new SQL components to solve customer needs with the data. *Job Functions and Duties:* · Owning all the database components from a development and maintenance stand point. · Own the daily load processes on the system and be accountable for the performance of the job · Design and develop new SQL components required for business · Work with the DBA to come up with recommendations for improvement and implement *Education and Experience Qualifications:* · Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent work experience · 5+ years related experience - Experience in a financial services environment especially Mortgage Banking is a plus - In depth SQL Server Development experience. - Experience of developing for MS SQL 2005 RDBMS - Strong self-sufficiency and initiative working on Database projects - Practical experience in dealing with large lines of SQL code. - Experience of Transactional SQL, DTS and SSIS stored procedures. *Key Organizational and Competencies:* · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Demonstrated ability to collaborate with co-workers and interact with executives at all levels · A team player with frequent interaction among co-workers in meetings and in daily operations · Proven ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions · Ability to develop systematic testing plans for problem resolution · Ability to work independently and manage oneself · Ability to work in high-pressure situations with strict deadlines Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
