Deployment Specialist *Term:* 6 Month w/permanent hire potential *Location:* New York, NY (primarily work-from-home following initial training) *Qualification:* 3-5 years IT experience Main Job Responsibilities: · Supporting the IIS\Client Server applications in production support\troubleshooting and the deployment of production applications. · Supporting the third-party financial module which controls the flow of funds from our organization to clients, merchant processors and financial institutions. · Supporting nights and weekend hours as required to allow for 24 X 7 coverage. · Support the design, analysis, and implementation phases of a system and/or upgrade projects. · Organize, plan, and execute large scale, complex projects from initial phase through implementation working with the Development, Security, Systems and Networking teams to provide complex solutions for the entire payment services environment. · Assist in the configuration of new FTP setups as well as maintain various existing connections to clients. Skills Required: · Client-Server application experience · Understanding of FTP/SFTP/Encryption platforms · · Very solid T_SQL knowledge · IIS/Web Hosting experience · Third-party application support experience · Basic understanding of load-balancing techniques (F5 a major plus) · Basic .Net understanding a plus - 60% Database - 40% TSQL - Microsoft O/S concepts - TCIP - Microsoft window server experience a must / SQL server - OTP methodology - Shift is 4 week days and one weekend. The hours worked could be anywhere from 40 - 60 hours per week.
