Job Location: South Brunswick, NJ Position Summary Statement: The Dow Jones Factiva User Interface group is seeking a consultant for developing prototypes of web-applications working closely with the User Experience & Creative Design teams. The work includes architecture, design and development of the applications in a Microsoft .Net environment. The right candidate would be someone who stays abreast of new and emerging web application technologies. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities: · Develop dynamic web application prototypes using XHTML - CSS provided by the creative designer, interfacing with the back-end systems using ASP.NET and C# with platform integration libraries (Client-Server architecture). · Work closely with other developers in the UI group and the User Experience & Creative Design teams. · Participate in the usability reviews and testing of the prototypes. Experience/Skills: · Passion for building beautiful and rich web applications that combine cutting - edge UI technologies with existing standards. · In depth knowledge of web development technologies, specifically ASP.NET, C#, XHTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, JQuery, XML-XSLT, DOM, SOAP, OOP COM.
