Please find below job description Location: *NH* *Duration: 10+ Months* Responsibilities: * Develop project estimations: effort, resources, schedule and budget * Develop project plans and schedule * Manage a team of 20 team members in an onsite * offshore model * Work with Business and Data Analysts and Architects to help define scope, requirements, and architecture * Execute the project per plan and meet project timelines and quality of deliverables * Handle all client communications including status reporting * Be the point person from onsite to work with offshore and be responsible for coordination * Provide technology guidance and mentoring to the team members on ETL solution and approach Expertise: * Project Estimation and Planning * Project Communication and Status Reporting * Informatica ETL Solution Design and Architecture * Information Project Life Cycle Management * Onsite * Offshore Delivery Model * Extraction, Transformation and Load process (ETL) using Informatica Power Center to populate the tables in Data Warehouse and Data Marts * Experience in defining a suitable architecture for data integration from multiple, disparate data sources (including legacy systems, relational databases, flat files, message queues, spreadsheets, etc. * Experience in designing and implementing a BI/DW Infrastructure on a large scale: ETL, Data Warehouse, *Data Marts,* and Analytics Required Skills: * Informatica Power Center ** Informatica Designer Components -Source Analyzer, Warehouse Designer, Mapping Designer & Mapplet Designer, Transformation Developer, Workflow Manager and Workflow Monitor* * *Teradata* * MS Project * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to interface with Business and IT stakeholders including Sr. Management * Excellent documentation and reporting skills Job description: * ETL Development Lead will own the complete ETL development stream of the project for client * Develop project estimations: effort, resources, schedule and budget * Develop project plans and schedule * Manage a team of 20 team members in an onsite * offshore model * Work with Business and Data Analysts and Architects to help define scope, requirements, and architecture * Execute the project per plan and meet project timelines and quality of deliverables * Handle all client communications including status reporting * Be the point person from onsite to work with offshore and be responsible for coordination Position 2: ETL Developer ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ETL Developer - Informatica - Teradata - SQL - Unix - SED - AWK - BTEQ - Fast Load - Multi Load • 6+ years of ETL design, development, and configuration management experience in Informatica - must be very hands on with Informatica Designer Components - Source Analyzer, Warehouse Designer, Mapping Designer & Mapplet Designer, Transformation developer, Workflow Manager and Workflow Monitor. • Must be proficient in configuring and connecting transformations such as Aggregators, Joiners, Lookup, Normalizer, Update Strategy. Should have developed reusable transformations and mapplets • 4+ years of experience in Teradata. Must have used Teradata tools/utilities such as Teradata SQL Assistant, BTEQ, Fast Load, Multi Load, Fast Export • Must be proficient in writing complex SQLs handling Terabytes of Data. Should be able to quote real time examples from project worked. Should also able to code queries using advanced analytical functions. Must be proficient in writing queries to handle temporal data (time based). • Experience in Performance Tuning Informatica components as well as SQL queries. Should be able to read and understand EXPLAIN PLAN output. Should have an understanding on how Teradata works and the impact of collecting statistics. Should also have good understanding of the usage of various indexes in Teradata platform. • Extensive experience in data loading strategies using Informatica and/or Teradata. • Proficient in troubleshooting issues and bug fixing with Informatica mapping, workflow and SQL (embedded in Views, stored procedures, macros etc) • 1+ years development experience using Unix Shell scripting with good understanding of utilities like SED, AWK etc. Should be able to code file watcher scripts, scripts to parse data from control files, and scripts to manage data on Teradata from ETL server. • Good knowledge of data warehouse concepts. Must have good understanding of identifying fact vs. dimension attributes. Also, should have Experience in defining a suitable architecture for data integration from multiple, disparate data sources including legacy systems, relational databases, flat files, message queues, spreadsheets, etc. • Proven analytical skills and problem solving skills. Should be able to provide creative solutions with a zeal for automation and improved productivity. Should be able to quote past experience in this regard. A bonus if you have: • Ability to work with ETL Lead, understand business requirements and help translate them into component/ process/ solution specifications / design • Exposure to data analysis, data profiling, data modeling and customer data management.
