* REQ 1312433* * * *Rate $ 65-70/Hr* *Location*: Cranston, RI *Start Date: ASAP* *End Date : 3 months * *Submittals due by: Friday 1/7 11:30*** *Deliverables: criteria/results by which success can be measured:* *The Testing Manager will be responsible for working with the Project Manager to manage all internal and external Testing Teams to test the technology deliverables of a project within the proposed schedule to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. The Testing Manager:* *. Reviews the scope of work to ensure all components of the project build are included in test planning.* * . Reviews and understands the impact of the Test environments to test planning and execution.* * . Reviews and ensures compliance with Citizens Bank’s Testing guidelines. * *. Coordinates all activities and all testers during each testing phase of the project or program* *. Co-operates with clients/users and senior staff as required to agree to the testing strategy to be employed for development projects.* *. Utilizes testing knowledge and experience to assess and advise on the practicality of testing process alternatives.* *. Identifies improvements to the process and assists in their implementation.* *. Tracks, monitors and works with Project Team to resolve all testing issues.* *· Tracks, monitors and works with Project Team to mitigate all testing risks.* *. Manages and plans for any code contention dependencies with other Projects.* *. Provides authoritative advice and guidance to colleagues on any aspect of testing. * *. Plans, arranges and controls meetings and workshops during test planning and throughout subsequent development and testing activities.* *. Has previous experience and a strong understanding of test plan and test script development.* *. Plans or oversees the planning of the system and acceptance tests and coordinates the execution of these plans.* * * * *** *Technical Knowledge:* .Conduct test plan walk-through meetings and obtain agreement on the quality, effectiveness, and commissioning of the plan from the Project Team and Project Sponsor. . Takes responsibility for all phases of testing and the management of the testing activities within a development project. . Takes responsibility for the production and approval of all testing deliverables and achievement of testing milestones during a project. . Reports progress of test planning and test execution to the Project Manager; reporting to include work completed to date, next steps, action items, issues and risks. Requirements: . At least 3 years experience of IT test manager position. . Strong QA and testing industry knowledge . In depth software quality assurance experience including proven management, supervisory, or leadership experience . The ability to work to agreed deadlines . Experience of coordinating people to complete tasks Skills: · Must effectively communicate (written and oral) with Line of Business, Operations and Testing Areas, Marketing, Technology Teams, and Vendors. · Create and/or monitor progress of project testing collateral including but not limited to test plans, minutes, risk mitigation plans, issue resolution/tracking, and status reporting. · Effective meeting management and facilitation; including documenting meetings with clarity and conciseness · Keep Project Manager informed of project progress through effective communication. Knowledge: . Standard QA Testing Methodology . Project Management methodology using PMI is preferred .
