*Duration: 12 + months* ** *REPLY TO: vkaus...@dyssinc.com * POSITION DESCRIPTION *Data Warehouse Specialist* Client has established a base Enterprise Reporting Environment (Data Warehouse) that pulls data primarily from the EDGE system, which is a Siebel CRM application. The Reporting Environment was set up using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 tools, such as SSIS, SSAS, SSRS and SharePoint 2010. Also, ERwin was used to create and manage data models. This reporting environment will be expanded to include data from other sources, other key applications, spreadsheets and Access databases. Client is currently implementing a project to migrate the CRM functions to a new platform, SaleForce.com (SFDC). As business functions are moved to Salesforce.com, data will be sourced from Salesforce.com. End-user reporting tools will be implemented and made available to executive leadership, management, and power-users. In addition, the web-based project map that was created as a pilot project for the 2009 Annual Legislative Report will be linked directly to the reporting environment and expanded to include multiple years, including current year-to-date information. Client has a temporary need for an Enterprise Data Specialist to assist in modifying and/or creating packages to transition the data source from Siebel CRM to SalesForce.com (SFDC), as well as pulling data from additional data sources. Also, this position will be responsible for setting up the end-user reporting environment, which will include standard reports, dashboards, ad-hoc report tools. This environment will be set up using SSRS/SharePoint 2010, PerformancePoint & Excel. *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:* *Reporting Data Layer: * · Once SFDC is operational, change the data source from EDGE to SFDC. · Add data from other sources to the Data Warehouse. · Continue to develop and maintain Data Models using ERWIN. · Plan and perform Quality Assurance testing on the Enterprise Data Warehouse. *End-User Reporting Tools Implementation:* · Develop an Implementation Plan. · Setup SSRS/SharePoint development environment. · Setup Ad-Hoc reporting environment for end-users. · Use SSRS to develop standard reports. · Conversion of existing reports to new tool. · Identify and utilize a report scheduling tool. · Design and create dashboards. · Perform Quality Assurance testing (i.e. Identify data and usability issues). *Mapping Project:* · Modify the mapping database to ensure that the data is sourced from the Data Warehouse on a daily basis. *REQUIREMENTS:* - 5 or more years experience as a Data or Information Architect - Strong experience with MS SQL Server 2008 Tools – SSIS, SSAS, SSRS (SharePoint mode) - Experience with Performance Point - Strong experience with Erwin Data Modeling - Proven track record in implementing enterprise meta-data management processes and tools and for managing meta-data for decision-support and operational systems. - Familiarity with meta-data management tools – enterprise repository tools, ETL tools, data modeling tools and data profiling tools. - Experience with the complete information system life cycle. - Knowledge/experience with data warehousing concepts - Knowledge/experience with dimensional models and cubes - Ability to be innovative and recommend alternatives for various reporting scenarios - Strong understanding of ETL concepts *SKILLS:* - Data Design - Database Design - Microsoft BI Tools Deployment *REPLY TO: vkaus...@dyssinc.com* If you have any query, feel free to talk to me.
