Performs all standard storage administration tasks including the enhancements/upgrades of the existing storage hardware/software solutions, provisioning of storage, performance analysis of the storage arrays, as well as performing problem diagnostics and resolution on a very diverse storage environment. . Provide oncall support and disaster recovery planning/support as required. . EMC VMAX, EMC Clariion, EMC Centera, EMC Celerra storage arrays. (High) . EMC storage and performance tools, symcli, SMC, Control Center, CMCDE, SRDF/A, SPA, Performance Manager, Navisphere Analyzer , Unisphere (High) . Storage Area Networking for tape and disk. (High) . Brocade directors and switches. (High) . Understand the concepts of interpretive and compiled languages. Ability to write simple programs in at least one scripting language. (Med) . Familiarity with some of the following: Veritas Netbackup, EMC PowerPath, EMC . Navisphere, EMC Unisphere, EMC SRDF/BCV, DNS, NFS, Oracle DBMS/RAC, Oracle ASM, CMCDE, EMC Control Center. (Medium) . Unix, Windows: Familiarity with AIX, Solaris, Red Hat Linux, and Windows Server: Perform basic system administration with emphasis on TCP/IP networking and file system maintenance. (Medium) Education: . Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred. . Experience: 6+ years experience in Storage systems supporting Windows and Unix [preferred].
