Our Client is looking for *DB2 DBA - Windsor Mill , MD*. This is for a long-term Contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE. *LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY. * * * *Description: * · Provide ongoing DB2 DBA maintenance support for DB2 application databases on HP-Unix machines in all environments (development, validation, integration, and production). · Create kornshell scripts to manage/automate the routine release process, and will monitor the database performance. · Interact with the development team. *Requirements: * · 5 years experience as a DBA supporting DB2 UDB on HP-Unix - most recently at Version 9.5. · Experience supporting IBM's Content Manager in a distributed environment. · Experience with creating and maintaining kornshell scripts. · Additional experience as a programmer accessing DB2 databases in a distributed environment.
