Best Rate : $445 per day on C2C/1099(max)* ** *Job Description: Perl developers to assist in the design and development of web applications used by internal and external customers. These positions will be working on improving our internal ordering and billing systems, customer facing APIs and upgrading our applications to utilize Web2.0 technologies. These positions work on systems that are expected to run 24x7 and we are looking for people with an attention to detail, a passion for technology, patience dealing with legacy systems and a desire to learn and continually improve the systems they are working on. * ** *Core skills: 4-6 years of experience in Perl development in a web environment on Unix systems (FreeBSD or Linux) Strong understanding of Internet technologies including HTTP, XML, XML-RPC, REST, XSLT, JavaScript and HTML Strong knowledge of SQL and the ability to work with mySQL and Oracle Good written and verbal communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills A passion for the technology tempered by a level-headed approach to problem solving Operate within flexible hours, especially during software distribution phases Ability to work comfortably and efficiently in a mixed MS-Windows and Unix environment Development and/or System Administration experience in a hosting oriented company ideal but not required.
