West Chester, PA. SUMMARY The *Microsoft SSAS/SSRS Developer* conducts SQL database report object modeling and implementation using either *SSAS* and *MDX*, or *SSRS*development tools, and implements and manages an ETL framework utilizing SSIS packages, in addition to basic database administrator duties. This position works with Microsoft toolsets for performance monitoring and tuning within the data warehouse and cube solutions. This position works under general supervision, interacting with his or her supervisor several times a week, perhaps daily, to receive guidance and feedback. Many non-routine activities will require a supervisors advance approval. This position is located in the Westchester, PA satellite office. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Obtain and maintain a low-level technical understanding of the International ERP systems and their interfaces to SQL Reporting Services. Provide Microsoft SQL SSAS, *MDX *and SSIS development supporting International reporting needs. Provide Microsoft SQL SSRS development supporting International reporting needs. Support International companies through the management and issue resolution for existing reporting processes, data and user interface applications. Fulfill basic DBA functions including but not limited to object development and deployment , indexing, performance monitoring and tuning on database objects, query and procedure tuning, backup processes, and monitoring and tuning of processor and storage performance. Prepare and maintain documentation on processes and objects as required by Reporting Manager including project plans, process flows, logical and physical designs, requirements documents, training materials and testing plans/results. Assist Reporting Manager and user community with internal and formal testing processes. Participate in on-call support program.
