Job Title : Sharepoint Developer Location: Houston, TX Duration: 3 months - Contract * ** *Best Rate : $48/hr on C2C (max)* ** *JOB DESCRIPTION: SharePoint Developer needed to develop custom SharePoint code in a SharePoint Foundation 2010 environment. * ** *KNOWLEDGE SharePoint 2010 knowledge will include web part development, workflows, event handlers, web services development, server configuration, deploying and supporting an enterprise SharePoint implementation. Demonstrated knowledge and development experience with Microsoft .NET technologies using Visual Studio is required (ASP.NET 3.x/4.x, C#, XML, etc.). Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process. Knowledgeable writing Microsoft Power Shell Scripts. Knowledge of Web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JS frameworks. Knowledge of Subversion for version control is a plus. * ** *EXPERIENCE Extensive coding experience with SharePoint web parts, features, workflows, event handlers, web services, etc. Minimum version MOSS 2007/WSS 3.0. Prefer SharePoint 2010 experience. Extensive experience coding with .Net in an enterprise using Visual Studio. Experience working with software design principles and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process. Experience with SharePoint Designer. * ** *ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Design, document and implement custom SharePoint code within the SDLC process. Provide on-going support for existing applications Troubleshoot and debug SharePoint sites Provide consultation on SharePoint customization projects for other developers * ** *QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred. Four or more years of experience in software development.
