Location: Windsor, CT Duration: 2 Month Renewing Contract DESCRIPTION: • PM needed for high priority Retirement Plans initiatives - Regulatory and Integration. • Insurance/Retirement Plans knowledge helpful. • This position will assist with development of project management deliverables. • Will schedule, facilitate and document meetings. • Will monitor project financials. • Position requires experience with Microsoft products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. • Strong communication skills. • Ability to learn quickly and retain directions. Individuals in Project Management are professionals who are responsible for the overall success of a wide range of projects of varying levels of complexity. Project Managers are accountable for project initiation and planning, and for overseeing development, testing, implementation, and closeout. This includes initial project planning efforts such as developing the project scope, defining project guidelines, obtaining business and IT sponsor approvals, and coordinating the resources necessary to successfully complete the project. Once a project is set in motion, the Project Manager is expected to communicate major milestones, identify potential project risks, provide continuing direction to the project team, and conduct regular status meetings to review project activities. Project Management professionals are also responsible for prioritizing procedures for changing scope and project acceptance procedures. Nearing project completion, the Project Manager is expected to obtain feedback to assure that project efforts meet customer expectations for agreed upon schedule, cost and objectives.
