*Sharepoint Administrator- $50/hr Boston, MA*
*Description*
- Install, configure, administer and support SharePoint 2007 and 2010
server farms in non-prod and high availability production environments.
- Coordinate interactions and with technical services staff including:
hardware/resource provisioning, Windows OS patching and maintenance, systems
capacity planning and monitoring, network configuration, BCP planning and DR
drills.
- Provide SharePoint application consulting and development support to
consumer applications as required or available.
- Conduct R&D into, proofs-of-concept with, and ongoing certification of
Microsoft technology features and releases in support of the FIMT SharePoint
Platform.
- Establish and implement best practices and governance of FIMT
SharePoint Platform services and operations.
- Provide off hours and/or on-call support for FIMT SharePoint Platform
and coordination with FIMT Shared Technical Services Operations.
*Qualifications*
- BS/BA Business, IT or Computer Science
- 5+ years experience with Microsoft products and technologies
- SharePoint Server
- Windows and Windows Server
- MS SQL Server
- Visual Studio, .NET, C#
- Microsoft MCSP Certification is a plus.
- Financial Services industry experience is a plus.
- Good writing, communications and interpersonal skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
