Required Skills • Minimum of 11 years of IT experience. • Solid technical experience with requirements analysis efforts for large scale successful IT system implementations. Demonstrated experience as a system requirements lead is a must. • Demonstrated experience of at least 6 years with requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation for Business Intelligence, Management information and Data Warehousing projects/solutions/systems. • Prior experience with documenting metrics for Management Information in the form of a Fact/Qualifier Matrix is a must. Experience using a fact/qualifier matrix as a data warehouse development tool to organize specific business information needs into a format that aids in developing relational and multidimensional data structures is required. • Demonstrated experience with handling requirements Elicitation efforts spanning diverse, large and geographically disparate stakeholder sets using RAD/JAD techniques. • Experience with requirements elicitation for developing Business Intelligence dashboards, key performance indicators (KPI's), and reports using Business Intelligence tools • Proven ability to document and progressively elaborate requirements using use-cases; to develop general user requirements, detailed functional requirements and system specifications. • Experience producing meeting minutes for requirements elicitation sessions. • Experience conducting RAD/JAD sessions to gather requirements. • Experience extracting and documenting data requirements from Management Information business/functional requirements • Solid understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts is a must. • Understanding of data modeling concepts is required. • Proven experience with the following tool sets:- • Rational Requisite Pro • Microsoft Office Suite • Demonstrated proficiency in Data-Management concepts, practices and procedures, extensive knowledge of DBMS in multi-tiered, Web/Client/Server environments, as well as extensive knowledge of data integration, data quality, multi-dimensional design and ETL tools, processes and methodology. • Experienced having functioned as the subject matter expert for Business Intelligence by preparing reports and presenting recommendations to upper management. • Specific experience having worked on data warehousing projects is required. Desired Skills • Data Modeling experience (development of logical models) • Knowledge and familiarity with the Information Builders suite of tools: WebFocus Dashboard reporting, Focus, Performance Management Framework (PMF), Visual Discovery, DevStudio, Report Caster, Maintain, Active Reports • Proven data analysis, data verification, and problem solving abilities • Experience with reporting and basic SQL queries Title: Solution Architect: TeamCenter/ Trackwise Duration: 6 months plus extension Location: Vernon Hills, IL 10+ years experience in software or applications engineering 1. Ability to deliver innovative technology solutions. 13. Advanced analytical and problem solving skills 14. Must be able to review and analyze current technology infrastructure and its ability to support strategic objectives of a business organization 15. Understanding internal and external customer needs, and designing computer and network systems that provide flexibility to implement core business applications. 16. Perform system and network modeling 17. Understanding and experience with CMII and Six Sigma methodolgies 18. Common web protocols, such as Http, Https, SOAp, etc. 19. An understanding of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) technologies and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts . 20. Understanding of Business Intelligence software and its value proposition to a company. Include the education and experience that is necessary to perform the job satisfactorily.
