Need a senior Oracle database Administrator with additional skills in either Sybase or MS-SQLServer. Analyzes, develops, tests and implements database designs in support of corporate and client area technology requirements. Performs data modeling, logical and physical database design,. maintenance & monitoring. Responsible for data loading, security, performance monitoring and tuning, capacity planning and backup and recovery. Executes database software installation, database creations/configurations and loads. *Required Skills :* Database Platforms Oracle Primary & secondary skills in Sybase or MS-SQLServer Operating Systems : Sun Solaris/Linux/Windows 10+ years experience as a DBA designing & supporting Oracle 10g/11g/RAC databases in a large-scale (100+ servers) in a UNIX, Linux environment. Administration tools like Enterprise Manager/Grid Control. Setting up Dataguard Install, upgrade & patch Oracle software. Create and configure instances. Backup and recovery using RMAN. Database and Application SQL Performance Tuning skills. PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Packages experience a must. Experience in database design and some logical modeling knowledge *One of the below is required as a secondary skill :* A. 5+ years experience as a DBA supporting Microsoft SQLServer 2000/2005/2008. Need experience in supporting SSIS, SSAS, OLAP, Mirroring, Log forwarding OR B. 5+ years experience as a DBA supporting Sybase Adaptive Server version 12.5/15.
