Design processes and develop tools to support installation, backup and system growth of large AIX clusters. Support backup and restore activities using TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager) and Oracle RMAN. Develop and maintain tools and scripts for installation, upgrades and backup/restore using shell, perl, awk. Perform General AIX administration and troubleshooting activities. Requirements: Most have a minimum of 5-7 years experience with AIX/UNIX technologies. • Strong Experience with AIX concepts (sysback, NIM, LVM), • Strong Experience with KShell scripting, Unix tools (AWK, grep, sed) Perl, TSM, Oracle RMAN, JSON, Expect • Strong experience with IBM Tivoli Storage Manager configuration and operation • Strong experience in Disaster Recovery tools and procedures • Experience in Virtualization/LPAR. Tivoli, SMIT ODM • Must have Troubleshooting skills, work under minimal guidance, multi tasking • Solid understanding of AIX internals, Kernel patches and Memory management. • Experience with HACMP, IBM P-series and BladeCenter product line • Must have Good Communication skills • Telecomm background is desirable.
