*Immediate Need a Senior Java Developer - MN (Backfill position) * *Title : Senior Java Developer Location : Minnesota, MN Duration : 8+Months Contract* Required skills: 3-5 years of experience driving Agile Scrum application development teams of 4 or more staff for software application products. 3-5 years of experience identifying and communicating product plans, project plans, role definitions, sprint plans, impediments, and burndown. 2-3 years of experience managing multi-site team sprint planning, scrums and retrospectives. 2-3 years of experience managing development and deployment of WebSphere platform based enterprise scale applications is a plus. 2-3 years of hands-on development experience in JavaEE technology platform building high volume applications. Healthcare experience is a plus. Descripition: Build relationships with application users, product owners, SME’s, analysts and developers. Promote the advancement and adoption of Agile methodology best practice methods, tools and documentation deliverables. Direct sprint planning, assist team with making appropriate commitments through story scoring and selection, task definition, and drive daily scrums, daily progress tracking, burndown chart reporting, retrospective reviews, release planning, resource acquisition, assignments, and work load management. Identify, manage, and escalate delivery issues and risks. Prevent and/or remove impediments and distractions that interfere with the ability of the development team to deliver the sprint goal.
