If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with the smartest team, and the very latest technology, then this is the job for you! *KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:* ,* Architect, design, develop, test and integrate iDirect Protocol software. ,* Participate in code reviews and improve software quality. ,* Mentor or help junior members of the team. ,* Support customers as needed. ,* Other duties as assigned. *Qualifications Education: * BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Mathematics, or equivalent experience *Experience:* ,* Expertise in design and implementation of complex systems. ,* Solid experience with C++ and object oriented design and development. ,* Solid experience with IP routing and routing protocols, such as BGP, OSPF, and RIP. ,* Experience with layer 2/3 switching. ,* Strong experience with Inter Process communications. ,* Very good knowledge of Design Patterns. ,* Strong Knowledge of Linux or a POSIX O/S environment. ,* Good Experience with shell scripting. ,* Knowledge of Cryptographic concepts (Symmetric Key, Asymmetric Key, IPsec, TLS) is a plus. ,* Knowledge of Satellite communication is a plus. *Professional Qualities:* ,* Must be able to work in a fast paced development environment. ,* Must be able to analyze and solve technical problems. *Personal Qualities:* ,* Must have strong interpersonal skills and be self-motivated. ,* Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner. ,* Must be able to communicate (oral/written) effectively. ,* Must be able to work under pressure.
