Hello , I am currently looking for *Windows System Administrator *for a high profile client.** *Location : Bellevue WA* *Duration : 3+ Months contract * *Pay Rate : Open* *Requirement*** * * - 5 to 8 years of applicable experience in Windows System administration - Working with some or all of Windows Server and VMWare platforms Microsoft, Cisco, and/or VMWare Certifications a plus *Knowledge & Experience * - Mid to Senior expertise in Windows Server environments including: Server operating systems including Windows 2003/2008/2008R2 and ESXi 4.1 - Setup and administrated Active Directory Setup and administrated VMWare installations Willingness to "rack and stack" and wire up simple electrical connections in the lab environment - Working understanding of scripting/automation tools: Windows, VBScript, Perl etc. Solid understanding of networking - client/server and router/switch configurations (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, subnetting) - Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information *Personal Attributes* - Ability to demonstrate strong customer service skills, and foster a high degree of end user satisfaction through the delivery of quality and timely service - Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities - Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment - Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills - Adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals - Ability to conduct research into hardware and software issues and products as required Ability to present ideas and solutions in user-friendly language - Highly self-motivated and directed Keen attention to detail - Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment Major Areas of Accountability: - Build, maintain and troubleshoot systems supported on multiple platforms and designed for various uses in the labs including, but not limited to, Windows Server 2003/2008, Windows XP/Vista/7 - Administer servers to include installation, configuration, monitoring, updating and backup tasks of the Windows 2008 and VMWare 4.1 infrastructure - Prioritize and fulfill requests from Developers and Quality Assurance Engineers - Assist with general lab upkeep duties, from cabling to racking equipment to electrical installation of gear - Work with IT Operations Manager to identify areas in which lab systems use can be improved and work to implement measures of standardization - Work with IT Operations to ensure that lab systems keep pace with the platform choices and performance requirements of a growing company In coordination with the Network Engineer, help manage and oversee design and use of lab-related network space - Manage Development and Quality Assurance Engineers' remote access to lab equipment Provide project support including planning and implementation of servers and software as required by the business. - Recommend, schedule, and perform software and hardware improvements, upgrades, patches, reconfigurations, and/or purchases - Maintains accurate and timely records in time tracking systems, ticket management systems, asset tracking systems, and weekly status and metrics report repositories Documents current processes, procedures, and routing guidelines; and builds, maintains and contributes to a knowledgebase for end user systems - Ensuring consistent system availability and data integrity - Performs other duties as assigned Thanks Keshav Adlakha * **REVOSYS IT INC* 108-31 47th Avenue, Corona, New York, 11368 Phone: 347 468 7109 Fax : 347-649-2053 *Email*:* *kes...@revosysit.com* **Website:** *www.revosysIT.com <http://www.revosysit.com/> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
