QA / Test Lead Location: Columbus, OH Duration: 6+ Months Sure Shot Closure, Locals Highly Preferred for IMMD Start * Position Qualifications:* • Expert in using HP Quality Center / TestDirector for test and defect management. • Independently documents and presents test strategies / plans to project and business leaders. • Experience leading multiple resources on projects. • Experience working on multiple projects concurrently. • Exhibits strong written and verbal communication skills with IT and Business audiences. • Excels at working in a project environment and on cross-functional teams. • Retail background is preferred. • Expert in functional testing methodologies, including test scope identification, test requirements management, functional test phases, test scheduling, and defect management. • Manages functional testing activities on one or more large IT projects. Includes working with project leaders on resource planning and timelines, coordinating the work of multiple testing resources to develop test scenarios and test cases, facilitating test execution and defect management activities across a large project team, and providing regular status to project and business leaders. • Strong understanding of Systems Development Lifecycle and Project Management methodologies. • Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience. • 5+ years experience in software testing • Experience with Tririga software or other IWMS application preferred • Experience with aspects of the construction management lifecycle preferred * Position Description: * The focus of this position would be to perform test leadership activities for the implementation of Tririga, a web-based project delivery system to be used by the Store Design & Construction and Real Estate business units at Client. This role will involve working with testers and subject matter experts to identify and develop test scenarios and test cases in HP Quality Center / TestDirector, and facilitating the execution of the test cases across testers in multiple functional areas. The test lead will report status to project leadership regularly and will own the identification and communication of any issues or risks for the testing workstream on the project. Client has an established process for how test cases are documented and how test execution is organized and reported out, and adherence to this process is required. The business units involved have limited experience with the standard tools and processes to be used for testing, so training and support will be a key aspect of this role.
