Hi, Our client is looking for ETL/SQL Developer - Los Angeles, CA. This is a 3 to 4 months contract position. The Hourly rate and Salary range is DOE. As a Data Analyst/SQL Developer, you will utilize strong *ETL* and SQL skills to extract, transform, and migrate data from one system platform to another. You will also participate in devising project timelines, implementing design specifications, documentation, testing and ongoing support of business systems. The position also entails participating, developing and maintaining operational and system level documentation. The ideal candidate must have strong SQL & MYSQL skills, as well as a proficiency in Excel. In addition, the ideal candidate should have the ability to gather, compile, and analyze data as well as the ability to plan, design, develop and test code. Strong communication skills are required as the position will interact with business owners. Familiarity with ETL in general and *Pentaho *specifically is desired. Experience with programming or scripting languages such as VB, PHP, and/or PERL is a plus. Experience using Omniture is a huge plus. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES* Support Sales, Marketing and Business Analysts, Product Managers and Executive Management with ETL and report setup.
