*JOB SUMMARY*

To manage the Network environment from Addison, TX. for day to day
production support in the following areas:****

**·         **Voice, (This includes Unity CISCO to desktop)****

**·         **Data (Wan and LAN)****

**·         **Firewall administration****

**·         **F5 Administration****

**·         **Wireless deployment and management****

**·         **Facility management of Irvine and Addison, ****

**·         **Break Fix (Network- Voice, Data, Wireless) ****

**·         **Project Work, ****

**·         **Budgetary control of (Network) vendors,****

**·         **Annualized input into forecast, ****

**·         **Service Network installations, ****

**·         **Network  supplier billing management and ****

**·         **Asset management of the global voice and data (including
wireless) network systems.  ****

Supplier financial management and contract negotiations will be a
significant activity within this role in both Voice/Data and Wireless
services.  ****

To manage and be responsible for all activities of Voice, Wireless and Data
Network support and supplementary operations support and take responsibility
for the development of short /long term planning of the enterprise network.
The facility management of the Addison and Irvine sites will come under
direct management of this position.****

To oversee the technical requirements of the business area/project, promote
knowledge sharing and the provision of deep technical expertise in Voice and
Data Networking including wireless and RF capability.****

Serves as a leader of complex IT projects and work assignments, and assumes
a leadership role in coordinating work activities for less experienced
employees within the work group or project team. ****

Directly responsible for completion of specifically assigned management
activities such as Projects, Network performance management, Capacity
management and monitoring.****

Will be responsible for on-call responsibilities regarding network issues or
outages.****

Communicate orally and in writing with support groups regarding technical
Network issues and requirements.****

Perform business process analysis in proposing network solutions to business
problems.****

Quickly change direction and priorities and manage multiple project

Consults with business units to provide situation analysis, engineering, and
design of voice and data Networks that balance the operational needs of the
business units with the requirement to manage remotely the Voice and Data
network assets of *Arbonne *Intl. ****

Utilize best business practices to provide design and testing of Data and
Voice (IOS) operating systems. ****

*Essential Duties/Responsibilities:    *

Analyzes Network-related needs of business units and designs optimum
hardware and software solutions.****

Monitors existing Networks for SLA compliance and reports any performance or
capacity issues to management.****

Identify probable sources of bandwidth abuse and take actions to alleviate
the improper use of the internet or MPLS network. This will also include
creation of ‘use’ standards for network usage.****

Evaluates suppliers of Data and Voice network services (i.e. AT&T, Verizon,
WilTel, Southweat Bell, PAC tel) and recommends strategies.****

Provides technical assistance on complex Networking or Voice break-fix
issues.****

Implement encryption for the VPN and other data transport connections.****

Develop and maintain Firewall polices.****

MPLS, Internet, wireless and HA support ****

Data Center physical environment and offshore facility i.e. SPRINT, AT&T,
Cogent, XO communications)****

**·      **Managing the delivery of the Network and overseeing the
development of SLA reports that support services delivered to the customer
and the business.****

**·      **Responsibility and monitoring of expense network budget.****

**·      **Assist in setting and implementing Network strategies and
policies that will improve the overall network performance.****

**·      **Liaison with the Applications Director on areas relevant to
Network Infrastructure and Infrastructure Support.****

**·      **Oversee the implementation of Network projects.****

**·         **Supporting the entire Global Network technology areas (i.e.
CISCO, Nortel)****

**·         **Managing the physical Network hardware and cabling in both
Irvine and Addison- i.e. footprint, cable routes, and applying Green data
center vision.****

**·         **Set the technology standards and direction of the Network
infrastructure, ensuring that management has a clear understanding of the
business, functional and technical requirements and monitor compliance
(Standards- WAN/LAN network, voice, IP, and SIP)****

**·         **Analyze, define and estimate high level Security software
strategies and solutions for the Network that are aligned with security
vision.****
