The Analyst uses profiling, quality tools and various data sources in order to determine causes of quality issues *Key Responsibilities* • Documenting detailed test plans and test scripts as per quality assurance methodology • Write detailed SQL scripts to investigate data in QA and Pre-production/Support databases and validate against requirements • Identifying and leveraging opportunities to improve the quality management processes, systems, and standards and feedback into the Data Stewardship Team to establishing an on-going process to maintain quality data and defining quality audit processes • Training and articulating the other departmental professionals regarding the benefits and need for data quality • Working closely with product managers, development teams, database teams and other QA analysts and business users to identify and resolve any quality issues *Experience:* • 6+ years in an Information Services team with at least 2+ years in a Data Quality role in an insurance industry backdrop • Working experience in formal software testing methodologies and software test automation tools • Experience of insurance industry is a must, exposure to Medical Professional Liability Insurance domain is a significant plus • Knowledge of data profiling and data management tools is essential *Management Skills* •Innovative problem solving skills, and communication skills. •Ability to work with both business users and development teams to understand the priorities and adopt a test strategy that meets the goals •Must be self-motivated, results-oriented, and an effective team player •Exemplary communication skills (both written and oral), evidenced by a background in preparing comprehensive documentation incorporating complex information •Sound organizational skills with a solid attention to detail *Education:* Bachelors and/or Master Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Formal certifications in SQL Server and/other RDBMS technologies is a must *NOTE:* We have multiple opportunities with the same skill set, would appreciate if you could refer any of your friends/associates/colleagues.
