*Position :* Application Consultant *Location :* Milwaukee, WI *Duration :* 6 Months *This position will primarily be responsible for daily support of our existing online billing application, including on-call pager rotation. * *Additionally, this position will be working to support conversion tasks so that data & processes can be moved from our current system to the new one under development. * *Once conversion tasks are complete, this position may do some new development coding in support of building the new online billing application. * *The current application is written in Java on a BEA Weblogic server**. * *Perl scripts are used for batch processes such as loading bills & sending e-mail alerts. Strong skills with SQL & Perl scripts to do data manipulation, sorting, & validation is required for this position**. ** **The applicant should have 5 years of experience & have a 4-year college degree in an IT field**. * *In addition, the applicant should have a proven track record with specific examples of being an independent & quick learner. * *They should demonstrate problem solving skills & the ability to speak with clients using business terms. * *They should be able to collaborate with clients & with internal IT resources to find solutions which meet the business need. * *They should be able to work well independently with minimal guidance as well as in team settings.
