(BI ) The current applications are written in Perl with a DB2 backend. The rewrite will be a Java/J2EE, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Web services, DB2, Tomcat, in a UNIX and Windows environment. They have not decided what BI tool they will be implementing yet. (Maybe Cognos) The consultant will be responsible for requirements gathering, designing, developing, testing implementing and maintaining complex or moderately complex web-based administrative information systems serving the financial organization. Project emphasis is on the A-Z rewrite of the Perl Financial Reporting system to a Java Financial Reporting system.
