Linux System Administrator responsible for executing daily service delivery of planning, organizing, evaluating, troubleshooting, installing and tuning of multiple large Linux systems in a centralized data center environment Skills: Strong knowledge of OS fundaments of various Linux flavours such as RHEL, SUSE. Package management using rpm, yum etc Experience in Software and Hardware RAIDs Experience writing scripts and procedures for day-to-day operations. Solid concepts on LVM, NFS, performance monitoring utilities and other core UNIX commands. Preferably SAN experience in a multi-fabric, multi-path fiber channel environment. Disaster recovery experience including data replication technologies. Experience writing scripts and procedures for day-to-day operations. Experience on Virtualization. Knowledge of IP tables and server securities Strong Networking fundamentals and interface configurations. User management and OS Hardening.
