Job Description
Must Have Skills:
* Should be familiar with: ASE 15 New features, System table overview,
* Installation of SYBASE ASE,IQ, Replication server. Backup and
recovery
* Dump/load database, different methods of dumping transactions.
* Disaster recovery process.
* Scheduling maintenance jobs like reorg, update stats ,sysmon, create
index, dbcc commands, MDA,
* Provide day-to-day database administration and on call support for
PROD./UAT/DEV environment.
* Good understanding of Unix and shell scripting
* Should be good team player and have excellent communication skills
* Should be able to take ownership in terms handling critical
databases in Primary DBA role
* Take initiative for customer requirements timely executes
deliverables , Escalation/Status updates and ensure periodic feedback on
issues.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge on Facets 4.61/5.01 Database Model is a plus
